| Hussein Lalani born & brought up in London, studied Law at University, before starting 99p Stores he ran a cosmetic & toiletry company with his brother Faisal manufacturing in the UK and exporting to over 50 countries worldwide. Hussein and Faisal founded 99p Stores Ltd in 2001 with the help of their father opening the first store in Holloway Road, London the idea for the concept came from a visit to the USA where they noticed the popularity of the Dollar Stores. Currently with over 135 stores and an annul turn over of £300 million the company has just moved to a new Distribution Centre which can handle over 350 stores which are planned to be opened in the next 4years |
