Sourabh Mishra is an independent brand consultant .He has over two decades' experience leading the brand strategy planning function nationally at advertising agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi, TBWA, Everest and Bates CHI & Partners. He has also driven the brand strategy planning function at Ogilvy (Mumbai and Bangalore), McCann Erickson (Bangalore) and Contract (Bangalore and Delhi). He has also worked as a brand strategist at BPL Telecom and Reliance Capital. His last assignment as a corporate employee was as Group Chief Strategy Officer and whole-time Director at Bates CHI & Partners India.

His brand planning experience spans across categories and includes brands like Parle, Cadbury Limca, Sprite, TVS, Skoda, Lenovo, Titan, Kwality Wall's etc. He has worked very closely on positioning and launching new brands like, ITC Aashirvaad, Ayurvedic Concepts (Himalaya), Skoda Rapid and Fruit Shoot in India.

His recent consulting assignments include helping define the brand for a large logistics / supply chain start-up, a private education provider, an insurance broker, a naval engineering firm, a power transmission major and a design start-up.

His views on marketing communications and branding have been published in leading industry publications. He has been a speaker on brand and communications topics at several industry events. He also teaches marketing communications at business schools as guest faculty.
