As you sow so shall you reap. This adage is more pertinent to plastic than anything else. Aditya Ruia, Co-Founder at Beco realized this. The epiphany resulted in the birth of Beco in 2017 an eco-friendly and sustainable homecare brand that is revolutionizing the household sustainable FMCG sector.
Armed with a degree in Manufacturing Engineering from BITS Pilani, Aditya has previously helmed the start-up Quorg, (a professional messaging platform to enable seamless collaboration and communication between working professionals) during his academic pursuits. After traversing through various creative avenues – with a strong focus on brand development through marketing technology and distribution – Aditya co-founded Beco along with Mr. Akshay Verma, and Mr. Anuj Ruia. At Beco, he is responsible for Tech, Strategy, Execution and Team Building.
Aditya believes the Indian consumer is discerning, however spoiled for choice. But with a growing working population, individual purchasing power is on the rise. This offers opportunities not only for brands, but also allows trade stakeholder make a difference.
Beco has created a huge audience base of eco-warriors as well as consumers who are driving change with small steps every day. The company's five-year plan includes expanding Beco to reach INR 100 crore.
